If you were to write a book about your life, what would the title be, and why?
Title: “Navigating Life: From Lucky Breaks to Networking Triumphs.” It reflects my journey of figuring things out as I go yet finding moments of serendipity that lead to positive outcomes. Life feels like navigating without a manual, but despite the uncertainty, fortunate outcomes seem to follow. This encapsulates the journey of navigating life’s uncertainties and feeling fortunate when things work out unexpectedly.
How about your professional life?
In my career journey, I’ve learned that sometimes success comes from unexpected avenues. “Networking Towards a Dream” encapsulates my approach of leveraging connections to open doors, starting from my bold pursuit of a role at WWE to my recent position at Press Communications.
What motivated your involvement with the AMA-New Jersey chapter, and why is this organization significant to you?
AMA NJ became a pivotal part of my transition back to New Jersey after my tenure at NBC Sports in CT. Volunteering in the memberships division allowed me to network while searching for a new opportunity, eventually leading me to my current role at Press Communications in Neptune.
What advice would you offer to new professionals in your industry?
In the fast-paced media landscape, networking is paramount. My advice? Network persistently. Maintaining connections can be the key to navigating industry changes and seizing opportunities.
