If you were to write a book about your life, what would the title be, and why?

Although my journey is just beginning, still in my mind I believe the title of the book would be “Setbacks to Steppingstones”. This title reflects my personal philosophy of constantly learning, growing, and adapting to the challenges that life throws at me. Fresh out of college, life has taught me the importance of persistence, and this book would highlight key moments where resilience has led me to new opportunities, personal growth, and success.

How about your professional life?

In my professional life, I’ve focused on building a strong foundation in marketing through various internships and experiences, including social media management, video editing, data analysis, content marketing, blog writing, article writing, and strategy. These roles have taught me the importance of continuously learning and adapting in such a dynamic field as marketing. I also believe that there is truly always room to grow, which is why I approach every opportunity with an open mind. Being a self starter has also been key to my success, allowing me to take initiative, seek new challenges, and develop my skill set to stay ahead in the industry.

What motivated your involvement with the AMA-New Jersey chapter, and why is this organization significant to you?

My motivation to get involved with AMA NJ stems from a desire to learn from and contribute to a community of like minded professionals who are passionate about marketing. The idea of joining came about by my college mentor, who encouraged me to get more involved and set me up to join as part of my internship. Being a part of the chapter showed me how AMA provides awesome resources for professional development, networking, and staying updated on the latest trends. Being a member of the community has been a pleasure because everyone has been so welcoming and helpful.

What advice would you offer to new professionals in your industry?

My advice would be to remain curious and open to continuous learning. The marketing field is dynamic and always changing, so staying adaptable is very important. Also, networking is crucial! Especially being young in the industry, building relationships, learning from others, and always being willing to help are key. Lastly, don’t shy away from challenges, and make sure to measure your success by the impact you make rather than just by titles or positions.

For anyone looking to connect with you, what’s the best way to reach out on social media?

The best way to reach out would be through LinkedIn. I am always happy to connect with fellow professionals, exchange ideas, and discuss opportunities.
