Join the American Marketing Association of NJ as a volunteer on our Communications Committee as a Web Content Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Manages general website updates including event updates, posting volunteer positions, creating written content, and other changes as needed
- Collaborates with the communications team to ensure web content is current, relevant and stays on brand
- Works with the Programming & Events, Membership, and Talent Management committees to update content relevant to their audiences
- Maintains events calendar to keep content current
- Assists content creators with adding blog content to the website
- Generates ideas for website improvements and enhancements
- Maintains the website in accordance with AMA brand guidelines
- Conducts website audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevancy
- Reports technical issues with website to VP, Communications and President
Experience requirements:
- Experience with maintaining website Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally, coordinating across a large, dynamic organization with multiple board members and committees
- Programming experience is not required
