Member Relations Specialist

About the role:

Reports to: VP, Membership

Responsibilities:

  • Works with the VP, Membership to oversee membership recruitment and retention efforts
  • Manages the member roster and coordinates communications with expiring members
  • Collaborates with VP, Membership to designs and deploy the Annual Member Survey to learn more about members and chapter performance
  • Develops the social media and email marketing content with the Communications committee for acquiring new members
  • Collaborates with the Programming & Events committee to leverage events for new member acquisition

Time commitment and reporting requirements:

  • Serves approximately 6-8 hours per month, depending on the time of year
  • Attends a minimum of 5 chapter events and programs (free or discounted price)
  • Attends weekly or biweekly committee calls/meetings
